Great stuff, keeps my hair in place all day. Once the sweat drys the hair dries back in place.
TLDR version: Best pomade I've ever used, and I've used a lot.
Product description: great hold, even in wet or humid conditions. Super easy to apply and spread. Washes out easily. Leaves a moderate luster/shine to the hair that doesn't look dry or greasy. Light and mild fragrance. If your hair is very thick and stubborn when it doesn't want to lay right it may not be quite strong enough of a hold to force it.
My Full Review: I've gone through A LOT of pomade's over the last decade+, some with great hold, and feel but hard to work with out of the tin, some that are easy to work with but super greasy, some that break down on a humid day and some that require soaking your hair in olive oil and washing it 3x with Dawn to get it back out... for a few years I landed on Slickr Than Hell pomade for a decent blend of luster, hold, ease to apply, and relatively easy to wash out (usually about 2-3 normal washings). I decided to give this Purists Pomade a try when I first ordered some wax from Stache Salt to see how it was, and I was blown away. I love the luster, it's not super greasy looking but also not a flat finish in my hair, the hold is great and stands up all day in any weather, it washes out great too (1-2 normal washings) but doesn't seem to mind getting wet in a rain or swim. While I loved the strong bay rum scent of my old product, the extremely light and soft scent of the Purist is also a selling feature as it let's me get my smell goods in other ways without conflict. Truly LOVE this product and all the others I've gotten so far from Stache Salt!
